Kellie-Jay Keen-Minshull – Auck rally Update

In the post previous to this I addressed some remarks to Michael Wood (Minister of Immigration). One of those points was that the language in his press statement would likely encourage more of the type of action seen in Melbourne. That proved to be the case and the Auckland action was worse than ever anticipated.

It is out there now for all the world to witness. The very worst of the radical trans-gays was on display as the ugly side of New Zealand, encouraged by many of our politicians. Does New Zealand want to be defined by a group, or groups, which have a serious intellect problem? The public discourse, to use a technical title, is no longer a discourse but a slime covered playground for a rabble of thugs and sex-crazed buffoons. Get that part of the name calling out of the way first.

Some of our politicians and others have not covered themselves in glory. In terms of glory though some are positively drooling over the outcome of the whole affair.

A few names and quotes:

Labour Rainbow Caucus chairperson and MP Shanan Halbert said he was "really proud" of protesters. (Ex Stuff)

Green Party MP Golriz Ghahraman also attended and said the trans rights supporters “painted the park trans colours”. (Ex Stuff)

The protester, Eliana Rubashkyn, later told the Herald that the blood-red soup represented the harm Parker was doing to the trans community. (Ex NZ Herald)

Rubashkyn is the alleged soup thrower. There is a Wiki page for her (was a him). Interesting trans background if you care to scan through it. But remember, most Wiki information while generally reliable may contain a few misrepresentations. Wiki is an open editing site.

I located a twitter message attributed to Wellington Mayor, Tory Whanau. This message if it is genuine must have been made public Saturday afternoon before Keen-Minshull decided to cancel the Wellington meeting and leave NZ.

The message reads in part: “…..Parker would likely receive the same response in Wellington….. likely to receive the same response from a community who are very protective of the trans community….It would be great if the community really show visibly they are allies….”.

I doubt the council will be censuring the mayor for bringing Wellington into disrepute.

Tory Whanau was a Green party apparatchik before taking up the Wellington mayoralty. From now on we should refer to the Greens as The Ugly Greens. They are bound to, and deserve to, lose votes over this episode. James Shaw their leader is already trying to gain sympathy votes from the minor traffic accident his deputy leader was involved in.

Will any of our politicians come out to apologise to Keen-Minshull. I would say no. Don’t forget Christopher Luxon said he did not subscribe to her views, without telling us what he does subscribe to. Who in politics will gain from this? Winston Peters will probably hold back for a while then run hard with the issue. His target would be mainly the understated Police coverage. It will be the old cliché of red meat but he would be on very solid ground.

I am asking the question though whether behind the scenes Government took Keen-Minshull aside to “point the gun at her head” so to speak. To the point that her immediate departure from New Zealand was possibly a secret instant deportation, under threat, rather than a voluntary action. It is election year after all and Labour could not afford to leak too many votes, or to have had a Wellington repeat of the Parliament grounds protest of last year.
